The Scout III Infrared Thermometer has a 30:1 distance to spot ratio and will measure temperatures from -76 to 1400 F. The Scout III alsofeatures a UV work light that will fluoresce the most common detection dyes used in diagnosing air conditioning and refrigeration system leaks. The work light extends the capacity of this insturment and saves trouble shooting time. The UEi Scout III also has laser targeting, adjustable emissivity levels, 60 second auto hold, Hi/Low alarm(user adjustable), K-type contact probe assembly, backlit display, low battery indicator.
